Unit 2: Three Hundred Pesos

Three Hundred Pesos is a story about three siblings, Emilio, Anastacio, and Berta. It is divided into three parts.

In part 1, Emilio asked his brother Anastacio for one peso. However, Anastacio refused to give him a peso. Anastacio wanted to fulfill his goal of his life. He wanted to save three hundred pesos so that he could buy his own store.

In part 2, Anastacio refused to lend his sister Berta some money. Then his crop was ruined, and he blamed Berta for that.

In part 3, Anastacio was ready to sell his crop. Unfortunately, he had a traffic accident on his way the market. However, he, finally, could make three hundred pesos.

    Once there was a man named Younde. He lived in the country of Akim. One day he decided to visit the town of Accra. Younde wrapped up some food and began to walk. He walked for many days. He saw cows, donkeys, people, and a very large building. Younde asked a woman, "Do you live in Accra? Do you know who owns this building?"
